About Me

This isn't really about me, it's about all of us.

Not one of my adventures would have been worthy of writing about if it wasn't for the people I met along the way who added color to the story, helped me out, fed me, laughed with me or at me and engaged in conversation about an endless variety of subjects. So I guess this is a tribute to everyone who I've met along the way, to say thank you and acknowledge the human connection we shared no matter how brief or trivial.

My sister always says "if you smile at the world it will smile back at you" and she's 100% right, I try to make that my purpose in life. We may all be different but we're also all the same and once you recognise this the world begins to open up.

Take that trip, do that course, go and see that person who you met who lives in a far off land and invited you to visit because the best stories are made when you buckle up your seat belt and press the eject button to project yourself out of your comfort zone.

No adventure worth having goes off without a hitch so make sure you embrace the lows as much as you ride the highs, and don't forget to write them down!
